8-Man all-Star football game
COMMUNITY & YOUTH PROGRAMS > 8-MAN ALL-STAR FOOTBALL GAME
Touchstone Energy representative Billie Been (center) presents two $10,000 scholarships to Dane Caldwell and Dakota Kilcrease

Touchstone Energy and Oklahoma Farm Bureau annually sponsor the 8-Man Football All-Star Game As the oldest 8-Man All-Star Game in the nation, the Oklahoma 8-Man Football All-Star Game is held in Miami at NEO’s Robertson Field each July.

The All-Star Game was designed to reward and honor the finest players by exposing their skills in hopes of increasing their chances of playing football at a higher level. In addition, the All-Star Game raises money for charities and provides scholarships for the All-Star players.

Several 8-man players have continued on to play at major colleges including Stacy Satterwhite, former player at Oklahoma State University. In an effort to continue the 8-Man All-Star tradition, Satterwhite along with Coach Richard Grady of the Oklahoma 8-Man Football Coaches Association, focused on moving the game and accruing more financial support.

Twenty coaches from the 8-Man Football Association will guide and train the players throughout their week-long stay in Miami, leading up to the All-Star Game. The MCVB and NEO A&M College have committed to the 8-Man Football Coaches Association to host the All-Star Game for the next four years.
