General Accountant of Broadband Services

The Accounting Department is now taking applications for the position of General Accountant

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business and a minimum of three (3) years accounting experience with Telecom or Fiber Optic provider is required.

  • Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Analyzing reports to ensure that all customer purchases are billed accurately
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Sorting and scanning incoming mail to ensure that invoices are received and entered
  • Reviewing and coding administrative invoices in online AP system
  • Vendor management (adding new vendors, requesting & receipt of W-9)
  • Gathering information for and aiding in the preparation of state/local sales tax returns
  • Other duties and special projects as requested by management

Experience you bring to the table:

  • 3 years of accounting experience in telecom environment
  • Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
