Have you noticed the silver tag on your trees?

That's a tree growth regulator (TGR) tag.  East Central Electric applies TGRs, such as Cambistat, to trees located in hard-to-reach areas that can cause large outages.  The use of TGRs improves powerline safety, enhances tree health, lowers operations costs and reduces trimming during the tree's lifespan.

ECE will begin its right-of-way maintenance efforts early this year. If you are a landowner that has any of the following: 

• Apiary
• Vineyard or Winery
• Orchard, Tree Nursery or Grove
• Certified Organic Garden
• Sensitive Crops
